Terms and conditions

1. Who you are contracting with

2. Age restriction

Tobacco products are sold only to persons aged 18 or over. By placing an order you confirm you meet that requirement. We verify age before dispatch and will cancel and refund any order where we cannot. Carriers may require proof of age on delivery.

3. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a concluded sale. The contract forms when we confirm the order and reserve the stock. We may decline an order — for example where a box has sold, where age cannot be verified, or where import of tobacco into your country is restricted.

4. Prices and VAT

Prices are in Swiss francs and include Swiss VAT at 8.1 %. Deliveries outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein are treated as exports: the VAT is deducted at checkout and the invoice is issued net. Euro amounts shown on the site are indicative only — every order is charged in Swiss francs.

Import duty, tobacco tax and customs charges at the destination are payable by you. Rates vary widely by country and we cannot prepay them. Personal import allowances also differ — please check yours before ordering.

5. Delivery

Orders confirmed before 14:00 CET on a working day are dispatched the same day. Within Switzerland and Liechtenstein we ship by swiss post priority, signed for, normally arriving the next working day, at CHF 12.00 — free on orders above CHF 250.00. International orders travel by insured DHL Express. Full rates are on the shipping and customs page.

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk passes to you on delivery.

6. Payment

We accept bank transfer and cryptocurrency. Card payment is not offered.

• Bank transfer. Account details are issued by email once the order is placed. Stock is reserved for five working days pending receipt. If funds do not arrive within that period the reservation lapses and the goods return to sale.
• Cryptocurrency. The amount is quoted at the exchange rate shown when you place the order and held for 15 minutes. Send the exact amount to the address displayed. Underpayments are held until topped up; overpayments are refunded. We are not responsible for funds sent to an address you did not copy from the order screen, or sent on the wrong network.

Goods remain our property until paid for in full.

7. Authenticity

Every Cuban box is supplied through Intertabak AG, the authorised Habanos S.A. importer for Switzerland, and carries the Republic of Cuba warranty seal with a verifiable 12-digit barcode. If anything we supply fails verification we refund it in full, with no time limit. See authenticity.

8. Returns

Unopened boxes may be returned within 14 days. Opened boxes cannot be returned, as sealed goods whose condition depends on humidity control. Faulty or non-authentic goods are always refunded. Full detail on the returns page.

9. Storage and condition

Stock is held at 17.2 °C and 67.5 % relative humidity and shipped in a barrier pouch with a calibrated Boveda 69 % pack. Once delivered, keeping the cigars in condition is your responsibility.

10. Product information

We publish vitola measurements only where our register holds confirmed dimensions. Where they are absent none are stated. Images are representative; box appearance, banding and date codes vary between production runs.

11. Health

Smoking damages your health and is addictive. Tobacco products are sold subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Tobacco Products and equivalent legislation in the destination country.

12. Liability

We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of the order.

13. Governing law

Swiss law applies and the courts of Lugano, Ticino have jurisdiction, save where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you a different forum.
